Gary was born in Washington, DC. He is the son of Harry and Wilda Rush and is the third oldest of seven children. He grew up in a family where money was scarce and learned early on if there was something he wanted, he had to work for it. As a teenager, Gary worked several different jobs to purchase his first car and eventually pay for his college tuition.
Gary’s first job out of college was as a project manager for a statistical research firm. Working in this field, he learned to plan out projects, come up with budget projections, stay in budget, hire and manage staff, and problem solve to deal with unexpected challenges that arose on projects.
Gary’s mission over the last 20 years is to get people to become more than they thought they ever could be. That could be in their identity, leadership, emotional fitness and fulfillment, or achieving something they never thought they could achieve.
Unlike many so-called business coach gurus and mindset experts, Gary truly desires to deliver value to people, and his passion and commitment are easily discernable when you work with him. He is not content to offer his service to make more money for himself; he is seriously committed to help business owners become more successful and improve their lives. To Gary, impact is more important than income. And this is the reason he is selective on who he takes on as a client and why he keeps his client load well below his peers.
The methods Gary utilizes in his work with business owners have been tested and proven. They have been developed and tested in the real world by Tony Robbins who is partnered in over 100 companies doing over $7 billion in sales. Additionally, in working with RRI, Gary received training from some of Tony’s top business mentors in marketing, sales, business optics, leadership, and people management.
Gary’s coaching is for those who are hungry, who are looking to reach their full potential on a massive scale and looking for something more robust than a traditional business coach. It’s for individuals who want to succeed at a higher level in their business and at the same time become better leaders/people along the way.
