Goats on a Mountain Top

Gary Rush is one of 19 out of 140 coaches at Robbins Research International (RRI) selected to be a Platinum Partner Coach for those whose average net worth was $10 million.  One of the primary reasons he was selected as a Platinum Partner Coach is that he consistently achieved the highest re-enrollment rates among all coaches, and was considered by Tony Robbins as having the distinguishing qualities of a great coach.

Recently, he decided to leave RRI to start his own coaching business to provide his clients with a more personalized experience while significantly reducing his client load.

During his time with RRI, Gary coached over 1000 business owners from a wide range of industries from startups to companies with revenue of over $100 million. Additionally, he is a certified Neuro-Strategist and he uses these skills to improve a business owner’s mindset, enabling them to improve their overall level of performance.

Gary lives in North Carolina with his wife Melodie.

By leaving RRI, Gary will be able to manage his own coaching business with a significantly lower client load.  As a Platinum Partner Coach, Gary will have more time to focus on YOU, flexibility to spend more time with you if needed, and more time to research content that will better serve you.

Why should you care if Gary was a former Platinum Partner Coach with RRI?  At RRI, performance metrics were kept on all their coaches to assure every client received the highest-quality coaching.  Coaches who didn’t meet a high standard, such as high re- enrollment rates, were not retained.

To be selected and remain a Platinum Partner Coach required consistent stellar metrics beyond what other coaches were accomplishing.  Not only was Gary a Platinum Partner Coach for many years with RRI, he had some of the highest metrics among his peers.  This required him to know and understand his clients better than the other coaches, and it also required that his clients consistently progress much faster than what they were accomplishing on their own.  It also was important that his clients achieve their stretch goals that eluded them prior to coaching.

Working as a Platinum Partner Coach and putting in his 10,000 hours of coaching with business owners provides a knowledge that can only be developed with hands-on experience and extensive client history.  Gary has seen most of the common patterns that derail businesses and, more importantly, the patterns that must be in place to create sustainable success.

The years of coaching/consulting with over 1000 businesses have provided Gary with the ability to see what worked and what didn’t.  He developed a holistic approach to working with his business clients.  In working with most business owners, he found what they came into coaching for was rarely what was needed. Most of them came into coaching looking for a new approach or strategy that would help them achieve their most important business outcome.  What Gary knew was the right timing of a new approach or strategy was an important piece of the puzzle.  Yet before he has his client go down this new road, he conducts a 45-minute interview with them to get the full picture.

During that interview, Gary looks for one or more of the three critical areas that typically prevent clients from achieving what they want.  Or sometimes in that interview, he will identify areas the client is not aware of that if resolved would significantly improve their business or life.  Following are the three areas, if in alignment, would accelerate the achievement of one’s most important goals:

  1. Vibrant Health – What Gary knows is if a client has energy to burn, they will have more bandwidth to take on challenges and make it significantly easier to accomplish their biggest stretch goals.  Gary is a living example of vibrant health and knows what it takes to achieve this.

  2. Emotional Fitness – Marrying vibrant health with emotional fitness (hunger, resiliency and resourcefulness) creates an unstoppable force. The simple solution to this level of emotional fitness is to accept that life will not always match what you prefer on both big issues and day-to-day issues and learning to let go of what you can’t control is key. Understanding this is easy, but living this way is a bit more challenging and requires an easy-to-follow methodology that allows you to become a master of this domain.

  3. Business Mastery– Business is an intellectual sport. Because of that, each week you will need to set aside time to think about your business.  Before you sit down to reflect, however, you will need to come up with a set of well thought out questions for each critical area of your business.  Coupled with this designated think time, you will need a structured process that will allow you to optimize your chances of making great decisions.  Great companies make great decisions.  Additionally, you will need great strategies.  In working with RRI, Gary has had one of the best business mentors in the world, Tony Robbins.  Tony is involved in more than 100 privately owned businesses with combined sales exceeding $7 billion a year.
